my abstract sea scape oil painting

this is my 2nd oil painting which i have done................ and can confirm they are very very messy to work  with;-) ive ruined jeans, tops, dish towels ,wall paper in kitchen(had to touch up )............wipe floors and doors down............. so until i have a messy place to work i will not be doing another lol

this picture i done over 10 years ago lol............this is not the original because my friendd bought the original of me to put in there cafe ......so i took a print before i sold them it

The bedroom drawers before i revamped them




nearly finished  .... to get this effect i had to sand them down , painted them with undercoat ,then next coat was white satin ,after this i rubbed them down  and at the corners and edges that would age with time (thats the effect i wanted ) i sanded them with a courser sand paper ......after this i applied white wax left this on for twenty minutes and buffed them up (the wax puts a white limed effect on the sanded wood) i then could not wait so rushed of to b&q for handles and im happy with the result made some thing old in to new :-)

hand made at college again..wired angel.... the hearts are not part of this angel there just hanging on in there for christmas tree decorations which ive also been making at college as we are having a xmas shop in the atrium any time soon :-) ho ho ho

more mess in my house..... .this time from my lil kiddy winkle ..............were making a fairy castle for fashion show her class is going to be in at end of season and erin wants it big so we got to start now ..lol

drawers before i got my hands on them .............im repainting them and im going for shabby chic style so watch this space ............sanded them.... under coated.... them top coat of white satin ....and then more sanding but this time where they would look old and distressed with age e.g........corners and sides ...........then applied liming wax to distressed areas ........buffed up .........still to protect them with varnish and order my new handles think ill go for crystal look honey combed shape i know what i mean lol.........happy days

been learning 1d and 2d drawing im really enjoying this because when u can learn to draw this way i think u can draw anything :-).....practice makes perfect
